I had an MRI because of Left foot drop symptoms (had Tummy Tuck and breast augmentation 3 months ago) the MRI reads the following: L4-5 3 mm central dis protrusion indenting the thecal sac. Minimal ligamentum flavum hypertrophy is seen. (no nerve root impingement) L5-S1 Slight annular disc bulging and the right side with minimal spurring. 2 mm far psterior lateral protrusion is noted.
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that your MRI report are having mild disc prolapse of two discs of lumbar spine (betweenL4 and L5, between L5 and S1). there is no compression of nerve roots however there is mild indentation (pressings) of covering of spinal cord . Its primary treatment is rest preferably in lateral position. Analgesic such as ibuprofen are use as these relieve pain. Mecobalamine is helpful in reducing neurological symptoms. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
