Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Enlargement of lymph nodes at any site can be due to infections, inflammations, and neoplastic growths.
The first line investigation is fineneedle aspiration cytology (FNAC).
FNAC is an office procedure in which cells are sampled from the lesion with a needle.
The aspirated cells are spread on glass slide, stained and then viewed under microscope.
After the results are obtained appropriate treatment can be instituted.
This investigation tells about the character of lesion and its origin.
Presence of concha bullosa and fluid collection in ear cavity can be due infection or allergy.
Prescription of histafree suggests presence of allergy in the ear and thus the drug is prescribed to control the fluid collection due to allergy.
The history that you have given does not suggest parasitic infection.

Thanks and take care
