What Does Mild Free Fluid In The Cul-de-sac Indicate?

Hi, im 20 years old and i am currently pregnant with my first baby. The other day i had went to the hospital because i was bleeding but the doctor told me the baby is ok. When i got papers back one of the papers state that there is a "mild free fluid in the cul-de-sac." what does that mean?

Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
I think the mild free fluid was detected on the ultrasound scan. Mild free fluid is acceptable and not of much clinical significance. If the baby is fine, there is nothing to worry. Just be careful and don't do much of exertion as you already had bleeding during pregnancy. Take as much rest as you can and you should ave a healthy baby.
Cul de sac is pelvic cavity where usually mild free fluid is seen so it is nothing to worry. Little amount of free fluid can be present there.
