Hi, I had a sonogram that found a 14mm by 13mm mass with a 4mm fluid centre, next to my left ovary. What could this be? I had the sonogram because I d hadlow abdo pain and heavy bleeding, dispite having a copper coil they said I was having a miscarriage. OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.A mass with fluid in the centre is most likely to be the ovarian cyst.
This can cause heavy bleeding and pain in the lower abdomen.
However, the cyst is small and can resolve on it's own with time.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
