General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Lower back pain called as lumbago. Muscle strain, mild inflammation, tendon inflammation, ligament injury, osteoarthritis et cetera can lead such pain. Muscle relaxant and non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug can be prescribed for that.

If no improvement, then x-ray of local parts should be done for further work up. Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
