What Does Liquefaction Time 67 Of A Seminal Fluid Indicate?
hello doctor, we tried to consult the seminal fluid of my husband with a medical technologist and pathologist and the result of his liquefaction time is 67. From this, is it possible that there will be no chance for me to get pregnant? what is the best thing to do now?
Semen should liquefy within 20 to 30 minutes of ejaculation.
Delayed liquefaction of more than 60 minutes may indicate an infection or a problem with the prostate or other glands, which are also known as the male accessory glands.
However, you should not draw premature conclusions.
You should undergo a post-coital test (PCT). This fertility test evaluates the cervical mucus after sexual intercourse. If sperm are found and moving normally, the delayed liquefaction is not consider a problem. In that case, you would have NO problem in getting pregnant.
