Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The inside of my nose itches which causes me to rub it to the point it almost sounds like I m breaking the cartilage. It then gets runny and I do sneeze sometimes. It can happen throughout the day but usually once I wake up in the morning it itches instantly. I don t have a stuffy or runny nose any other time. Is this a normal allergy, as I ve never been allergic to anything before? I m 50 y.o. Female. Thank you
Where do you live? I mean if it's rural area then allergy and dust might be the problem. if some urban area with high pollution allergy and Nasal stiffness is likely. Will advise you to buy an Oxymetazoline Nasal solution two drops both nostrils at bed time. Buy a normal saline Nasal spray and use it as often as possible throughout day time. I am sure it will help.
If any further inquiry or consultation, please do contact me. Thank you for the query.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
