What Does It Burn While Urinating And White Particles Come Out?

hi. i have a problem occasionally with my urine. Sometimes, out of the blue, it burns when i urinate and white particles come out. It goes away after and hour and comes back maybe every 6-8 months. If it was a UTI would it happen frequently after the first time. also, i am a virgin so i am quite confident it isn t an STD.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* White particles with burning indicate underlying mucosal irritation of the urethra or urinary bladder from possible bacterial invasion.
* If there is no associated burning, then issue with the passage of sperms when there is an accumulation of seminal fluid in the vesicles same whitish discharge can be noticed.
* A microscopy evaluation of the urine at the time of discharge will prove to be a diagnostic test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
