What Does Indentation On The Elbow Suggest?

About 4 inches above my left elbow on the outside of my arm I have an indent in the muscle. It s about the size of in index finger from tip to second knuckle. It doesn t normally hurt, but when touched is about as tender as a fresh bruise. Sometimes it feels as if an achy pain is radiating from that spot. I can t tell you how long it s been there. I am wondering if this is something I should see my doctor about, or if it can wait until my next physical (about 4 months or so).

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Possible issue of developing soft tissue lesion as lipoma, sebaceous cyst or else.

Can keep a watch over the size of the same, if persistent of the same size and not disturbing, can easily wait for the next scheduled follow up with your doctor after 4 months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
