Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My girlfriend and I are tying to have a baby, So we had unprotected sex, After two days She complained that there is a bad smell coming from her vagina and its leaking yellowish to brownish things and she feels a little irritation on her top vagina. What Could that be. She has taken medicines and She claims to be okay now.
Changes in vaginal odour is normal when having unprotected sex. The yellowish to brownish discharge leaking from her vagina is your sperm coming out from her genitals 2 days after having unprotected sex. That is normal too.
Irritation of top of vagina could be due to unprotected sex, and possibly dry and tough sex.
Advise to keep a good vaginal hygiene. If the discharge will change in odour again and color should run vaginal swab testing to rule out vaginal infection. Remember not to have sex at least 3 days before the test is done.
All the best and good luck for the baby.
