What Does Fluid In POD Mean?

Hi, Doctor has suggested to take medicine Letoval from day 2 to day 6 n Follicular study from day 9. my results were left ovary (19*177 mm- day 9), (23*21mm - day11). after this, she suggested to take injection - Corian 5000 and result on 13th day was - left ovary reputured and fluid in POD. can u pls suggest if everthing ok

1. Yes every thing is ok. That is what expected in this study.
2.POD - Pouch of Douglas, is the area in the pelvic region below the both adnexa (where ovaries are held / supported).
3.Largest follicles are monitored for 3-5 days, once it breaks and fluid seen in the POD.
4.The hormonal treatment is given for fertilisation.
5.This study is done in case of infertility, to identify the time of medicine induction for fertilisation.
