General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The key to remove dryness in the skin of legs in a type 2 diabetic is to:- avoid hot showers
- apply olive oil or almond oil before bathing
- apply moisturizing ointment after bathing
- increase fluids intake
- keep your blood sugar well controlled.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
