What Does Dizzy Spells After Taking St. John S Wort Indicate?

I have been taking St. John s Wort 150mg capsules 3 times daily for 8 days now and the past 3 days I have started experiencing moderate to constant brain shutters from what it feels like. Difficult to describe, It s like a weird type of dizzy spell, but constantly on and off. Like a brain shiver? It mostly happens when I am walking, but still happens while sitting. It s a feeling that I have only ever experienced during having fevers. I just always figured it was related to me being sick, but now I m just confused by it. Any advice?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the St. John's Wart is herbal preparation from Hypericum perforatum, a member of flowering plants family. It is used for a variety of clinical disorders with mixed results. There are many side effects after the consumption of the same and common ones are as follows:
- Body rash
- GI upset as nausea, bloating
- Headache
- Chest tightness
- Dizziness
- Dry mouth
- Sensitivity to light
- Altered sleep pattern or duration (as insomnia)
- Others

Immediately stop consumption of further doses as you are most likely having the side effect of the molecule. And inform office of your doctor for further guidelines.
