Taking St Johns Wort. Trying For Baby. Should I Stop Taking It?

I have been taking St John's Wort for a long time maybe 2 years. My husband and I want to have a baby, but some of the stuff I read said that you shouldn't take St. John's Wort when pregnant or breastfeeding. I also read that if you quit St. John's Wort bad things will happen to you, I just don't know what is right or what to do
Do you have any answers for me I have to pay for this? wow

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

St John's wort is a herbal medicine. Most herbal medications are not required to undergo a lot of testing to determine potential side effects.
Because of this,it is not known whether this herbal medicine would have any adverse effect on a baby.

This is the reason that it is recommended that it is discontinued 3 months prior trying to conceive and during breast feeding. This reduces the chance of any complications.

I hope this helps
