What Are The Side Effects Of St. John S Wort?

I have been taking St. Johns Wort now since the beginning of november. I am now having some moderately serious issues with things that are listed to be possible side effects of St Johns Wort. Would it take 3 months for the side effects to finally start showing up?

Hello,

It can sometimes take a few weeks to months for some side effects to be seen. It is possible that this is the case for you.

To determine if the effects are definitely related to the St John's wort, you would need to stop it and see if your symptoms improve. If related, then the symptoms should resolve within 1 to 3 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
