Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 85 year old father had an angiogram on Tuesday. He just called me and told me that he has bruising down his leg, across his hip, and his groin area is black too. I told him to go to emergency. I am four hours away. He wants to wait until the morn to see his doctor. He says he is not in pain. Is this normal?
Hello, It is normal or at least common to have a lot of bruising in the groin and leg area after an angiogram. If he has no pain and his leg is warm and appears normal except for the bruising then it is okay for him to wait until tomorrow for him to see his doctor. Regards, Dr. Robinson
