What Does Brown Vaginal Discharge Indicate?

I was due for my depo shot on the 1st of september but decided to stop getting it. On the 24th of september i was getting brown discharge when i wipe and pregnancy like symptoms the past few weeks. I have had unprotected sex with my partner several times since my depo was due. I was just wondering if these symptoms are normal coming off the depo? I took a pregnancy test two weeks ago but it was negative.

Irregular brown discharge/bleeding/absence of periods is common side effect od depo shots.This pattern will continue during the withdrawal period of the drug ,which may take few months (4-8 months... or even longer)
Pregnancy is possible after you attain regular ovulatiry cycles.
