Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have celiac that hasn’t been checked up on in 5 years. I’ve been managing pretty well, but Thanksgiving seems to have started a flare up. My stool is orange and red..bloody, and my intestines are in a lot of pain. What should i do? I’m at work, should i continue to work?
In Celiac diseasediarrhea are generally foul smelling and fatty. Orange red stool is suggestive of bleeding some where around rectum or anus. Kindly consult surgeon to rule out haemorrhoids or fissure or other pathology related to large intestine.
Thanks
