What Does An Absolute Lymphocytes Count Of 690 Suggest?

My blood test showed my lymphocytes, absolute of 690 (L) range of 850-3900 cells/mcl. I had been dx with ulcerative colitis years ago resulting in sx. I understand it is related to autoimmune diseases? How dangerous is it and do I need to do something about it. Otherwise I am quite healthy.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear-thanks for using our service . I understand your concern and will give you my medical advise. The absolute lymphocytes are part of the white blood cells. They take care of the infections like virus. Your level is a below the normal range but not too low to give you problems. You should not worry about this . It is also common to have this level in patients with ulcerative colitis due to the autoimmune condition. I recommend you to have a healthy diet with antioxidants like vitamin C,which helps the immune system.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
