What Does Absence Of Menstrual Bleeding While On Contraceptive Pills Indicate?
Hi ...i just want to ask what should i do ? I missed my menstrual period for a month .. i have taking contraceptive pills for 2 years without skipping! But i used to shift to another brand for rhe last five months ... now i am confused why i dont have my period for a month!? I even took for a pregnancu test 4 times and the result was negative at all! Please doc. Help me what to do to get my menstrual period to start again! Thanks in advance
Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone, this can be detected 11 to 14 days after conception. It is likely that the tests would have given an accurate result and you are not pregnant.
Some contraceptives can suppress the period, so it is possible that this is the case for you especially if your periods were regular on your previous contraceptive and are only not causing problems on your new contraceptive.
You should consider speaking to your doctor.
I hope this helps
