What Does Abdominal Pain On The Right Side Indicate?

I have had right abdominal pain for a week, which sometimes gets so severe, it wakes me up, I can t move, turn or get up. Along with it, continuous nausea, and now pain under right breast & right shoulder blade. I have not been hungry and have been constipated. I was checked for appendicitis, but wasn t that. They have me on nausea medicine, doesn t help. Lactalose, Miralax, magnesium, nothing helps. I have been belching & passing gas alot, which I rarely do. I have been having bad headaches as well. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

I understand your concern. Pain on right side of abdomen along with nausea, pain under right breast and back with lot of gases and constipation suggest -
Indigestion,acid peptic disease,Good poisoning. Pain in upper right abdomen suggest gall bladder stones /inflammation. You need consultation of gastroenterologist.
Till then eat bland ,light food. Do not massage or foment.
Take Glycerine suppository for bowel movements. Gelusil pills over the counter would relieve gases and nausea to some extent.
