What Does A Tender Spot Under The Chin Indicate?

Hello, last night I noticed a tender spot under my chin - It mildly painful with even a slight touch and seems to be a bit swollen - I am thinking it is a stolen lymph node which i know can be a sign of infection or virus but am not showing any other symptoms. I read an article online that said it could be accompanied by night swats - I did awake late last night and had a ring of sweat around my collar which i am not sure I should attribute to just being hot or something more serious?

Hi
Thanks for positng your query on HCM.
I have read and understood your concern.
Asmall tender spot may be a skin irritation, local infection or lymph node. I will advise you just observe. If pain persist or more spots appear or increases in size, you see the Doctor for examination as only a keen examination by the Doctor may help to reveal what it may be.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
