What Does A Resting Heart Rate Of 84 Indicate?

Am 27. 5feet 11inches Weight is 89kgs. My resting heart rate is 84, Is that bad? I stopped exercising and its been two years i didnt do any kind of exercise. Not even mild forms of exercise. Am a moderate eater. Am not am alchoholic. But i smoke 3-4cigarettes a day. And its been 4years i have been smoking. I eat very less junk food. Almost every meal is home made.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Resting heart rate of 84 is not a matter of concern. Normal would be around 72 beats per minute. But it varies +/- 10 beats everyday.
Since all other things are normal and you are also taking good amount of precaution, there is nothing much you need to be worried about.
Kindly get the following things done to stay healthy.
1. Diabetic screening for Fasting and Post Prandial blood glucose once a year.
2. Fasting lipid profile once a year.
3. Blood pressure monitoring once in 6 months.
