What Does A Red Bump On The Lower Lip Indicate?

I have had a red bump on the inside of my lower lip. Yesterday I thought it looked like I could squeeze it and hoped it would pop. WILL I DID nothing happened but it hurt. When I got up this morning my lip is swelled and vary sore. No opening wound. have any ideas what it is.

Thanks for the query.
A red bump on the inside of the lower lip, it can be due to inflammation of any minor salivary gland, infection, lip bite causing hematoma formation.
As you have squeezed it there is increased inflammation causing swelling of the lip.
So my suggestion is to take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and do cool compresses over the lip. If there is no improvement in 3-4 days or it continue to worsen consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated. If there is an infection a course of antibiotics can be advised to you.
