Hi,

I'm of the following opinion:
1. Initially, the cyst was asymptomatic, but as it is getting bigger it could be the initial lump in the first place, so prior to getting an appointment with a Gynecologist, remember that treatment of ovarian cyst depends on the following conditions:
- the size of the cyst.
- the symptoms produced by the cyst.
- the age of the patient (post-menopausal women have a slightly higher chance of developing ovarian cancer.)

PS. In most cases, ovarian cyst disappears on their own without any treatment, so in order to determine whether medical or surgical is the best option, kindly consult your attending Physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
