What Does A Lump On The Collar Bone Along With Fever Indicate?

My son has a lump that has just appeared on his collarbone along with a fever of 102 and fatigue. He also had an episode today when he said he felt his heart beating a little harder and felt like he was going to pass out. And had trouble talking and labored breathing. We have been to the Dr. and were told his white blood cell count was normal. What else should I look for? What could this be?

It can be a swollen lymph node. Consult a general surgeon and start a short course of antibiotics. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
