What Does A Lump Above The Left Temple Indicate?

So I m a 20 year old female with no problems with my medical history. Tonight I noticed a lump right above my left temple, and I m super nervous about it. I rarely ever have any acne so I know this isn t the case. It s a little smaller than a dime, it doesn t hurt to touch it, and it seems to be moveable.. I can t really tell. Since I noticed it I ve began to have a headache and a pressure feeling behind my left eye, probably just from worrying, I guess. I didn t hit my head on anything, but it feels like a knot almost. I m scared its a tumor or something but it showed up so suddenly... what could it possibly be??

Hi,

Since when you are having this lump? Possible causes are like boil or folliculitis or lipoma or dermoid cyst, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your surgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
