What Does A Large Bruise Below The Navel And Frequent Urination After An Accident Indicate?

I had an accident on my bicycle on Thu. evening. I have a large bruise below belly button to the pubic line. Today I feel the need to urinate frequently, almost like a bladder infection. No fever, slightly elevated bp. I hate the time & expense of going to ER only to be told it takes time.

Hi,

Frequent urination may won't be due to trauma, it may be due to excessive fluid intake or urinary tract infection etc. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Blunt trauma injury to the bladder and urethra is very less due to pelvic bones are protecting the bladder. If it is only bruising it may subside itself don't worry please get examined for urine culture and sensitivity and ultrasound abdomen. the treatment follows the reports.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
