What Does A Faint T Line And Dark C Line From Velocit Suggest?

Hi Doctor,It's 37 days from the first day of my last period & I have a regular cycle of 30 days. I did a velocit home pregnancy test on the 30th day and saw a faint T line and a dark C line within 5 minutes. I did the test again on 35th day and again saw the same results. Am I not producing the expected levels of hCG? Is there anything going wrong with my baby?

Hi,
HPTs read well 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Please repeat the test following all the instructions. If you wish to know the exact titres, you should go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres which give you the exact values. These can then be correlated with findings on a trans-vaginal sonogram. In case of doubt, serial titres are usually done. Doubling of titres every 2-3 days occurs if the pregnancy is progressing well. Hope this helps.
