Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi i feel as though i have been punched in the stomach and the pain in dull but travelles all the way to my throat from by stomach. I have not had an apetite or felt hungry for the last couple of days. I was wonderering what could be causing this and if it is a serious issue.
The following may be probable causes of your symptoms: 1) Gastric ulcer 2) Gastroesophageal reflux 3) Acute gastroenteritis
To those who come to my clinic with similar symptoms, I recommend the following: 1) Take tab. Nexium before food. 2) Take Omez insta sachet and empty it's contents into half glass of water and drink. This will immediately relieve the pain and can be administered twice in a day. 3) Take bland food without spices. 4) Daily exercise helps in good digestion of food and increases appetite. If your pain doesn't subside, you may consult a gastroenterologist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
