What Does A Bump On The Head After An Injury Indicate?
My son hit his head last week at school there was no mark where he hit it. He has been telling me it is hurting him a bit I just washed his hair and when he got out there is a round bump on his left side of his head when you feel it. It feels like there is a lot of fluid and the shape of his head look odd. Do I need to take him to hospital

It is just a contusion or hematoma.
It is nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin.
Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself.
As of now you can apply ice packs for symptomatic relief.
