What Does A Bump Around A Nose Piercing Indicate?
Hello I got a double nose piercing about a month ago . Now recently I ve noticed a small bump on the inside and i get a pimple looking infection on the outside of my nose. Some days it looks like it s going to pop. One of my studs sink into the pierced hole when I sleep. When I push it through pus comes out as well. I clean my nose daily with rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide but it seems to not be working . What should I do ?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bump around a nose piercing which is very common after piercing as cartilage in that area takes longer to heal than the fleshy areas of the body. Need not to worry. I would sugegst you to
- Take an oral anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen to relieve pain and swelling.
- Apply small amount of corticosteroid ointment on it and apply small amount of pressure on it.
- Use cotton balls and soak them in salt water solution and hold each one against your nose and keep it there untill it cools off.
If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT spercialaist once and get it examined an dstart treatment accordingly. Take proper cours eof antibiotics and antiinflammatory medications.
