What Does A Bowel Movement Every Time After Having Food Indicate?

Hello, my question is about using the restroom. Every time I eat I have to use the restroom immediately. Like less then 5 minutes of taking the first bite. This has been going on for several years now and it’s getting really annoying. Whatever I eat I always use the restroom within 5 minuets and is usually diarrhea. WhT does this mean?

Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Eating stimulates the gut mobility. If otherwise, everything is normal, then this is the whole answer and not much might be going on. And, if the stool is frequent, or watery or has fat or froth or blood or if there is a lot of cramping/pain then something else might be going on.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
