What Does US Showing Anteverted Uterus With Coarse Myometrial Echoes Mean?
Hi..i rowena 25years old.shows on my ultrasound result the small anterverted uterus with coarse myometrial echoes and is tender on slight probe manipulation. The endometrium is slightly thickened with a poorly define anterior endomyometrial junction,cannot rule out a beginning focal adenomyosis at the mind anterior myometrial wall. The size of an endometrium is 1.1 CM, cervix is 1.2x1.9 CM and uterus is 3.9x2.8 CM What does it mean doc?. I hope you will help me to fully understand my condition and there will no problem about this..thank you for helping me.
As per my clinical experience, the irregularity in terms of coarse myometrial pattern do suggest possible hormone irregularity underlying. The tenderness on probe manipulation may be indicative of underlying inflammation through some sort of bacteria or fungi. If the lab data in terms of PAP smear and endometrial biopsy are available, kindly share with me during follow up period of discussion.
