Is my semen analysis report abnormal? Will i be able to father a child? kindly infer my report. My age is 33yrs. Colour - opaque Collection to processing time - 30 minutes Total volume - 2.8 ml Liquification time - 1 hr Reaction - alkaline Total sperm count - 7.5 million/ml 60-150 Actively motile - 20 % Sluggish motile - 40 % Non motile - 40 % Normal forms - 60 % pus cells - 6-8 /hpf rbcs 1-2 / hpf epithelial cells 1-2 /hpf fructose normal

Hi
After going through the reports, it appears that the counts(7.5) are decreased, normal sperms are low, progressive motility is low and pus cells are present.
Pus cells indicate infection.
Also liquefaction time is prolonged which could be due to infection.
Discuss with your doctor for control of infection, which can possibly correct the motility.
