What Do White And Pink Bumps In The Throat Indicate?
I just noticed when I looked in mirror with a flash on my phone that I have these weird whitish pinkish bumps on my throat wall behind my uvula and on both sides right behind my back teeth have a swollen bump and I m scared of what it is. Doesn t hurt but the bumps pm throat are hard to touch
Noted your history of painless red and white lumps in throat, hard to touch. Since there are no symptoms and if the swellings are multiple then nothing much to worry. Such lumps can be due to the following reasons: Granular pharyngitis, this is hypertrophy of the pharyngeal mucosa secondary to some irritation or so. Or when one does not complette the medicinal course for acute pharyngitis. There can be rhinitis or sinusitis causing these as secondary. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Consult an ENT Surgeon as a clinical examination by him can tell you the best possible cause and get you the prescription based management if needed. Otherwise be assured. Stop anything oily and spicy as these can increase the problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
