Hi,

Warfarin belongs to the group of medications known as anticoagulants which is used to treat blood clots and prevent new clots from forming in the body. Preventing harmful blood clots help to reduce the risk of a stroke or heart attack. Side effects of Warfarin are numbness, tingling, cramping or spasms in the arms and hands, joint pain, discomfort or swelling, sudden and severe leg or foot pain, foot ulcers, purple fingers or toes, tremor, dizziness, shakiness, vertigo etc.

Other side effects are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, GIT upset, headache, altered sense of taste, bloating, indigestion, easy bruising and bleeding, bleeding gums, nosebleed, abnormal vaginal bleeding, blood in the urine, bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood or vomit, usual tiredness, weakness, chest pain, fainting, allergic reactions etc. If you experience such type of side effects for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor for medical help.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
