What Do Thick White Vaginal Discharge And Pain During Intercourse Indicate?

The symptoms I have are thick white discharge, pain when having sex and strong vaginal odor. I recently had a uti test done because it hurt to pee but it came back negative but now I m starting to think it could be a yeast infection, if it is would a yeast infection show up in the uti test?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Thick white vaginal discharge and pain in the vaginal region during intercourse what you are complaining of could be due to an inflammation of the mucosa and associated with bacterial or yeast infection.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Wash the area with mild antiseptic solution like Savlon twice daily.
2. Apply anti-fungal medication like Fluconazole as vaginal pessary for 3 successive days.
3. Take a course of oral antibiotics Tablet.Metronidazole.
4. Use pH balancing solution like 'V Wash' regularly.
6. Wear loose fitting undergarments to avoid friction in the area.
6. Abstain from sexual activities till the symptoms subsides completely.
Maintain good personal hygiene. Use water based lubricants for some time during sexual activities to achieve good lubrication after the symptoms subsides. Your symptoms should get better gradually.
