Hi, My father has TVD. so we performed CABG. Operation performedL ON PUMP CABGX3 LIMA-LAD,SVG-OM2, DISTAL RCA. But after a month my father feel pain in shoulder and went for consultation. doctor analysed the ECG abd blood report and suggested again we need to perform angiography to diagnose the problem. After diagnosed the report says PCI FROM LEFTMAIN TO CIRCUMFLEX . There is slow flow on SVG Graft. After analysed report they gave medicine and said that curable by medicine. But still my father get pain sometime. Please provide me your valuable suggestion on this. whether they did faulty surgery? Please let me know atleast will be curable by medicine.
No... there are no issues with the CABG but post procedure angina is common in some patients. The drugs which dilate the vessels, blood thinners-aspirin, anti lipids and antihypertensives need to be taken and he will improve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
