What Do Swelling And Tenderness In The Breasts Indicate?

my daughter has very tender breast and swollen and doesn t have period she is 30 years old and has always had where her monthly periods is not every month at all maybe not even having one for the last few years..... She has had her tubes tied with her last child 7 years ago and hasn t seen and OBG since then. And just told me her mother about this problem what could it be?

The tender and swollen breast in a married female who's tubes are tied 7 years back can be due to the following reasons:
Fibrocystic disease.
Cancer
Infection and abscess formation.
Hence I would advise your daughter the following:
Consult a General surgeon asap for clinical evaluation, examination and
investigations like Mammography and ultrasonography along with guided FNAC for getting a proper diagnosis.
If there is an infection then a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory should help.
If there is an abscess then she will need incision and drainage.
If there is cancer then needs an opinion of Onco-surgeon and further management as per the stage of the disease. Get these done as soon as possible to get utilized the golden period.
For no menstrual periods she should see a Gynecologist for proper evaluation and investigations to get a diagnosis and management.
