Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sore swollen tongue with yellow white patches can be due to yeast infection or oral thrush. Consult an oral physician and get evaluated. A microscopy of scraping from tongue can help in confirmation of the diagnosis.

If it is thrush then antifungal medicine like Nystatin mouthwash, Clotrimazole lozenges and oral medicine like Fluconzole can be advised for 15 days. Eat plenty of probiotics like yogurt and maintain a good oral hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
