General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Actual photos would have been helpful for on-the-spot diagnosis and management.
Well, the possible causes can be as follows:
Allergic reaction to some medications.
Some foods and beverages, particularly with preservatives, can cause this.
Some local applications like one use for clearing hair and so on can cause this.
Some hematological problems that can cause ecchymosis.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor for preliminary diagnosis and investigations of blood, particularly for coagulopathy, platelets, factors and so on.
This will decide whether to consult a Dermatologist or a Hematologist for further evaluation, diagnosis and management.
Till then stop all the instigating things as discussed above.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
