What Do Red Rashes On The Chest, Neck And Face Indicate?

My 18 yr. old daughter has started having red splotches break out on her arms, chest, neck,& face. She has not started use of any new makeup, or different foods. They itch, do not weep or ooze, they look like burns, but are not.. it is not as bad as a mosquito bite, she just finds herself scratching them.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your daughter seems to have allergic breakouts may be following some insect bite. This symptom continues until the allergic reaction in blood and rashes with itching continue until the circle is broken. Lastly by antiallergic course insufficient length. Consult an allergy specialist for the advice of the suitable drug in suitable dosage after examining her. For severe itching, she can apply Caladryl lotion over the counter.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
