What Do Red Rashes On The Body Of An Infant Indicate?
Hello. My daughter is 18 months old. On Thursday while giving her a bath I noticed she had a few hives. I gave her Benadryl. The next morning she had them again but seemed to have subside. We went to stat care on Friday as she was completely covered head to toe with big margins of red blobs. Stat care told us they were unknown caused hives and prescribed prednisone. Today they seemed a little better after a nap. Come atound 8 this evening and her face is completely swollen and her eyes are very swollen. She seems to be a little winded. I just gave her her second dose for the day. Wondering if I shouldn’t take her to our nearest children’s hospital or try to see if they subside. I don’t want to be the over worried Mom but I have never seen any of my children like this.
