What Do Pus Cells In The Stool Of An Infant Indicate?
Hi my 2 month old baby having 30 to 35 pus cells, mucus and reducing sugar present in stool and stool reaction is acidic plz guide me that should I make visit to pediatric in emergency or should I wait? Is it abnormal for exclusive breastfeeding baby?
It could be a bout of gastroenteritis. It could be viral in origin and will settle by itself in most of the cases. If the kid experience symptoms like fever or blood in stools, antibiotics may be needed. Consult a pediatrician and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
