General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Nutritional deficiency and bacterial infections can also cause diarrhea and bloating. Multivitamin supplements along with probiotics should be taken regularly. Strong antibiotics or certain bacterial infections can kill useful bacteria in the colon causing diarrhea and bloating. Probiotics taken thrice a day for 2 to 3 weeks can increase good bacteria in the colon thereby preventing diarrhoea.

Healthy food should be taken. Vitamin supplements containing B12, B6, zinc and niacin should be taken regularly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
