What Do My Blood Test Results Indicate?

Hi! I just got a blood test done, and the results say my ALT function is 52.0, whereas my AST is 43.0 and my Alkaline Phosphatase is 131.0, which is above the normal range. Does this indicate that I have a liver disease (It can t be cirrhosis because I don t drink alcohol, but I drink a lot of aerated drinks)? If so, what should I do?

Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

The level of ALT and AST is considered normal upto three times of normal range and so level below 120 ALT or 105 AST is considered normal. Since your ALT and AST is well below the three time limit irt does not indicate any liver pathology.

Similarly your alakaline phosphatase is in upper range and considered normal.

To conclude there is no need to worry at this point.

Thanks and regards.
