What Do Lower Back And Hip Pain Along With Abnormal Periods Indicate?

I have had two abnormal periods the last two months, very light. My periods have always been consistent and never vary in length or how heavy they are. I have also had some new symptoms before my last period that could also be symptoms of pregnancy but I took one negative test 10 days ago. I ve never been pregnant but I ve never had anything other than cramps and lower back/hip pain with my periods, so I m just trying to figure out what the cause of all of this may be.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Mefenemic Acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
