What Do Itchy Rashes On The Stomach Indicate?

I have a rash on both sides of my stomach - itchy right now. I just got out of the hospital with pneumonia , CHF and COPD. I developed a flair-up of herpes simplex while there. I had a shingles shot 3 yrs. ago but I feel like this is what is developing. Right now, it just itches a lot. Could this be shingles even though I had the shot?

I think that it can be an allergic reaction.
A photo wouldbe helpful to diagnosis better.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Use antihistamines orally
-Use prescribed corticosteroids
-Use calmine lotion at the area for relief.
