I awoke this am with a sense of an irregular heart rhythm. No pain and no other symptoms with the possible unsteadiness while standing. I m 75. Slightly over weight. I exercise regularly and work part time along with taking care of a disabled spouse. Unable to sleep at night till last 2 hours in bed. I drink 4 to 5 cups of coffee every am and lately eating more sugar due to holiday junk foods. This arrhythmia continues as I speak. No medications except OVC sleep aids and 81 gm aspirin nightly. I m currently on a statin drug.
